Astypalaia is a beautiful small island, between Kyklades and Dodekanese and shares characteristics from both sets of islands.The island belongs in the Dodekanese administration.The capital is Chora located on a rock and it is connected with the port Pera Gialos. The Venetian Castle with  its two whitewashed churches, stands proudly at the top of peninsula proclaiming the onset of the development of the settlement.The island consists of two parts which are connected with a strip of land only  100 meters in width.

When you'll come to our island, it is well worth visiting Livadi, Maltezana and Vathi.
There are numerous of beautiful beaches such as Ag Konstantinos, Vatches, Kaminakia, Ag Yannis, Panormos, Pahia  Ammos, Tzanaki.

A Butterfly bathed in sunlight, it travels in the Aegean blue, keeping its traditional character almost unscathed by the touristic development.
